The Clinical Engineering Association of Bangladesh (CEAB) was established in 2017 to strengthen the role of medical technology in safe and sustainable healthcare delivery. Beginning in 2007 with the introduction of Biomedical Engineering at KUET, this journey has grown into a national platform connecting engineers, educators, healthcare professionals, and policymakers.
From nine founders, CEAB has now expanded to more than 86 members nationwide, reflecting both the strength of our community and the recognition of Clinical Engineering in Bangladesh. Our mission is to enhance patient safety, advance healthcare technology management, and establish Clinical Engineering as a recognized profession in the country.
CEAB continues to advocate for institutional reforms, global partnerships, and the development of skilled professionals to meet national needs. Together, we strive for a future where every hospital—from urban centers to rural communities—benefits from safe, reliable, and well-managed medical technology.
